For all of you iTunes users, FREE podcasts are available to download from the iTunes store, and they play on both Windows and Mac computers. Categories include the arts, education, news and politics, science, technology and more. Simply by clicking “get episode” the selected podcast is immediately downloaded into your “podcast” folder, identifiable by the icon on the left, which then can be burned to CD or DVD.

Video podcasts can be recognized by a small icon (which looks like a tv monitor). For those who like to listen, audio podcasts are also available.

I recently downloaded a series of National Geographic’s Wild Chronicles, which are great for you science teachers. Each clip is approximately 4-5 minutes, and there are over 100 videos to choose from, all free.
